Digipak and Magazine advert final
Final Inside Cover

The image on the left is where the CD would go over, the time to reflect was the idea created by the artist becoming what he is. As the consumer lifts the disc they see this quote, and on the inside right side is another quote which is our way of reaching out to the audience, in order to make some relation to the audience - something they could relate.
Final CD COVER

This is our final album cover, as you can see it is very plain but i wanted to denote the idea of past and present and him moving on. I wanted to create the effect the magazine advert of Nas and Damien Marley which i analysed, with use of only simple colours.
The back cover was less simple but Josh and I used various fades and transitions to get the display we have now. We wanted to create a link from the back cover to the music video but not too much that the CD cover is based on the music video. The ring is a concept which is going to be used throughout all the music videos where as the clock links to the music video. On the Front cover is the Parental Advisory as there are a few terms suitable enough for 15 years and over however not below it. Similar to all CD covers the production labels are displayed as you see on our back cover. We had a lot of criticism on our earlier designs however this current CD cover is subtle enough to put across the concept of the album and music video but not too much where the concept is lost due to editing.
Final Magazine Advert

This is our magazine advert, Josh and I decided to use our motif quite a lot in our advertisement in order to reinforce the concept of our music video pre-viewing. It is something that we see to be aesthetically pleasing as well as catching the eye and standing out. We challenged usual magazine adverts as they tend to be colourful and in terms of the genre R&B, there is excessive use of jewelry and sometimes a female is presented along with the artist.
